Success Against HB 4335

My deepest congratulations to everyone who fought to defeat Oklahoma House Bill 4335! Our voices have spoken loudly to the legislators who dictate policies which affect the lives of us all, and we were heard! We have dedicated decades of constant struggle to protect and liberate pets from the abusive and prolific existence of “Puppy Mills” and the commercial businesses which resource them.

We’ve won again, my friends! We have dealt with this type of proposed legislation seeking to protect puppy-selling pet stores three times!

And all three times, we’ve united against the horrific abuse of innocent pets and defeated these harmful bills that would have preempted local control of pet stores. And all three times, in 2016, 2019, and 2025, we’ve done it the Oklahoma way. We booted them out of town!

My question now is: how many times will this kind of legislative bill be proposed?

We all know the answer, there is no answer, unless we stay united in our efforts to permanently block the horrific sale of “Puppy Mill” pets anywhere and everywhere!
