My group is not a shelter, or a rescue, but hopefully you will believe our group is just as important like we do! REBEL Rescue Fundraising is our name. We are five friends who have fostered and cared for animals from our local kill shelter and rescues for years. We know the struggle when funds are short, animals are in dire need of care, bills pile high, and grasping to anything to keep afloat is a “normal” occurrence. Because of these reasons, and MANY more, we created REBEL Rescue. We are a certified charitable organization that hosts little get togethers/fundraisers to raise money. We also have two very talented artists who create handmade creations that we sell. ALL proceeds that we receive go to our local shelter for animals that need vet care (the shelter does not provide unless people donate), our local SPCA, to a boarding facility that boards dogs from our kill shelter until out of state rescues can take, to local non profit rescues that are in need of funding for vet care, food to the local food pantry the SPCA has to help owners during hard times, money for transporters transporting our animals to safety, and ANY need our community, group, organization, or rescue feels is deserving. We’re only 2 months old, but we are making a difference, and in the month of September, we were able to donate over $500 to our local groups, and help save 13 lives! It might not mean much to some, but to us, there is no greater feeling, or reward, than knowing that we ARE making a difference by, “saving lives one dime at a time.
